Wei Li
Whitebox Advisors
Wei joined Whitebox Advisors in 2003 and is responsible for evaluating long short investment opportunities in Asian markets for the firm. He also participates in the analysis of PIPE and private financing activities. Prior to joining Whitebox Advisors, Wei spent two years with Arthur Andersen.
Wei holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA in Literature from Zhongshan University in China. He is a CFA charter holder.
Peter Sasaki

Mr. Sasaki is the owner of Logos Capital Management, LLC where he advises two global macro funds and a commodity arbitrage program. Mr. Sasaki is also a General Partner in PS-KA Partners, a European physical commodity trading and real estate investment concern and is a lecturer at Yale University. Prior to starting Logos in 2000, Mr. Sasaki was a market analyst and derivative trading specialist at Moore Capital Management, Inc. where he specialized in quantitative relative value trading techniques within a macro framework. Before joining Moore, Mr. Sasaki served as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan & Company where he managed proprietary portfolios invested in foreign exchange, fixed income, equities, and commodities. Mr. Sasaki holds an MBA in Finance from New York University and a BA in Philosophy from Pomona College.

Professor Ludwig B. Chincarini

Professor Chincarini specializes in portfolio management, quantitative equity management, and derivatives. His research interests include portfolio strategies, investment tax issues, and derivatives. He has taught courses entitled Investments, Global Financial Markets, Special Topics in Investments. Professor Chincarini is the author of the book Quantitative Equity Portfolio Management. He has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry. In 1999, he helped build FOLIOfn, an online investment firm specializing in personal accounts. In 2002, Ludwig joined Rydex Global Advisors, a mutual fund company, as Director of Research. At Rydex, he co-developed the new S&P 500 Equal-Weight Index. From 1995 to 1996, Ludwig was a Research Analyst for Schroders, an asset management company, where he developed models to help manage fixed income portfolios and determine asset allocation. From 1996 to 1999, he worked at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). Professor Chincarini received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his A.B. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr. Parris is an investment professional at Freeman Spogli, a middle-market private equity firm dedicated exclusively to investing with management in retail, direct marketing and distribution companies positioned for growth. Since its founding in 1983, Freeman Spogli has invested over $2.5 billion in 42 portfolio companies with aggregate transaction value of over $16 billion and is currently investing out of its fifth institutional fund, which closed in 2004 with $1 billion in commitments.
Mr. Parris is responsible for identifying, analyzing and executing new investment opportunities. He is also responsible for monitoring the strategy and performance of existing investments, and is currently a board observer at El Pollo Loco, Savers and Sur La Table.
Prior to joining Freeman Spogli, Mr. Parris spent three years at Merrill Lynch as an investment banking analyst. Mr. Parris received his bachelor's degree summa cum laude in science and management from Claremont McKenna College in 2001, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
Anthony Polazzi

Mr. Polazzi, Vice President, has over nine years experience in private equity and leveraged finance. Prior to joining Sun Capital Partners, Mr. Polazzi worked as an Associate in the Leveraged Finance Group of CIBC World Markets, specializing in acquisition financing and leveraged buyouts. He has been involved in the execution of over 60 buyout and financing transactions including corporate divestitures, strategic rollups, restructurings, syndicated loan issuances, high yield debt issuances, and distressed debt purchases. He received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College.

Mike Sekits joined JAM in 2006 as a founding member of JAM Equity Partners, LLC. Prior to JAM, he was the President of Sekits Capital providing investment banking services to financial services and consumer product companies. Prior to founding Sekits Capital in 1999, he was an Associate Director in Bear Stearns & Co.'s Investment Banking Department where he specialized in M&A advisory, high yield finance and public equity issuance for financial service businesses. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mike was an Associate at The Shansby Group, a private equity fund that acquires consumer product businesses. Mike received his Bachelor of Arts in economics and accounting from Claremont McKenna College with the Phi Beta Kappa distinction.
Henrik Cronqvist

Dr. Cronqvist is an Assistant Professor of Financial Economics. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago. Prior to joining CMC, he served on the faculty at the Fisher College of Business, Ohio State University, where he in 2007 received the Pace Setters Award, the College's highest award for research contributions. His teaching and research interests are empirical corporate finance, behavioral finance, and individual investor behavior. His work has been published in the top-ranked journals in economics and finance, including the American Economics Review, Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial Economics. Based on his research, he gives seminars to policy makers, executives and investment managers in the United States and overseas, and his research has been featured in The Economist, Financial Times, and Wall Street Journal.
